In late spring of 2023, we had the privilege of photographing an exclusive pre-wedding at Whitbourne Hall. Whitbourne Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed country house on the Worcestershire, Herefordshire border.
Whitbourne Hall is steeped in local history. Originally built in 1862 by renowned architect Edmund Wallace Elmslie, the house and grounds have been intricately designed. From the moment you enter Whitbourne Hall, you will be blown away. The Hall is a stunning private residence set amongst beautifully manicured grounds and woodland.

Pre-wedding shoots are a beautiful way for couples to capture their love story before the big day, and Nihal & Preet's pre-wedding photoshoot was nothing short of magical. Set against the backdrop of a stunning Grade II listed country house on the Worcestershire-Herefordshire border, the entire shoot exuded elegance, romance, and a touch of heritage.

Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, this breathtaking Grade II listed country house provided a fairytale-like setting for Nihal & Preet’s pre-wedding shoot. The house itself, with its grand architecture and timeless charm, set the tone for a regal experience. The intricate stonework, sweeping lawns, and mature gardens added layers of character to the scene, perfectly complementing the couple’s vision of a classic, yet contemporary, photoshoot.
This historic estate, has long been a hidden gem for couples seeking an authentic English countryside atmosphere. The rich history of the property blended effortlessly with the couple’s modern yet traditional Asian attire, creating a mesmerizing fusion of culture and heritage.

Preet, dressed in a stunning Saree adorned with intricate embroidery, looked like a royal princess. Nihal, equally dapper in his traditional sherwani, brought a sense of regal grace to the shoot.
The use of natural light in the outdoor shots created a soft, romantic atmosphere, while the grand, sweeping interiors added drama and sophistication to the photos.

One of the most special aspects of this shoot was how it reflected the couple’s journey, not just as two individuals in love, but as a celebration of the blending of heritage and modern love stories. Nihal & Preet’s pre-wedding shoot paid homage to their Asian roots through their traditional attire while seamlessly integrating the grandeur of a quintessentially British setting.
The magnificent countryside location, coupled with the couple's elegant traditional attire, created a harmonious blend of East and West, capturing both the grandeur of a historical British country estate and the vibrant energy of a contemporary Asian love story.
